Test Metzeler: Day 2 – Rain?!

Light rain here in Cartagena which is a surprise after yesterday’s great weather but this hasn’t stopped the enthusiasm from our blogger and dealer test riders. It has also shown the all round abilities of the Metzeler Interact family of tyres in different conditions.

Yesterday’s track action was topped off by some sweeping mountain roads and a café stop by the sea, pictures from that as below.

The journalists found the comparative tests very useful through the three different tyres from the Interact range (Racetec K3, Sportec M5 and Roadtec Z8).

It’s been a great experience to share stories with Metzeler staff, journalists, dealers and bloggers from around the world.

Test Metzeler: Sun, Sea and Sticky Tarmac!

We’re here at the Cartagena race circuit in Southern Spain with UK journalists testing the Interact range (Racetec K3, Sportec M5 and Roadtec Z8). So far a fantastic atmosphere, beautiful weather and a stunning array of bikes and tyres to be tested. We even have a DJ here in the pit box!

Very informative technical presentation here at the hotel last night, followed by an early night to prepare for the start at the track today.

The guys are out on track now testing the M5 and K3 tyres on a variety of bikes including the awesome BMW S1000R, Kawasaki ZX-10R and other Superbikes.

Later we will set out on some fantastic roads on an even wider variety of machines to test all the tyres on local tarmac.

Test Metzeler: Interact range to be tested in Cartagena, Spain this week!

The Metzeler family look to ‘Interact’ next week as journalists, bloggers and selected dealers from across come to test the full range of tyres at the fantastic Cartagena race circuit in Spain.

With testing of a wide array of bikes on both road and track, the complete line up of Metzeler tyres will be put through their paces!

The Interact range (Racetec, Sportec Roadtec M5 and Z8) have different qualities and will therefore be tested on different types of road and on varying machines from race to touring.

Ridexperience will be there bringing you all the news and views, with the best images of testing, so stay tuned here!

BMW GS Trophy? A unique experience!

The BMW GS Trophy is a unique experience. Loving the bike, Enduro, and in particular the attitude to love a challenge is essential! Held through South Africa, Swaziland and Mozambique, this is a truly epic event.

USA, Canada, Germany, Spain, Italy, Japan, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland, England, Northern Ireland, South Africa, Switzerland, Austria, each country supplied a team of 3 people and took part in this fantastic experience organized by BMW Motorrad , all riding the twin-cylinder enduro range and all equipped with our Metzeler Karoo tyres.

The riders gave everything and departed with the knowledge that the hard course had given them more courage, endurance, technique, skill and luck!
